Propulsion Real Estate Services Renter’s Liability Insurance Policy

Before the commencement of a new tenancy, Propulsion Real Estate Services requires all approved applicants to provide valid documentation of renter’s liability insurance coverage. The Personal Liability Coverage must be no less than $100,000.00. Please note that liability coverage does not cover a tenant’s personal property.

Tenants are required to obtain this insurance coverage prior to the start of their lease or rental agreement and maintain it throughout the full term of tenancy. In addition, the property of tenancy must be named as an “Interested Party” on the tenant’s renter’s insurance policy. This designation authorizes the insurance provider to notify the property of the following:

● Cancellation or nonrenewal of the policy
● Reduction in policy coverage
● Removal of the property as an “Interested Party”

Important Notes:
● Propulsion Real Estate Services does not require tenants to purchase renter’s liability insurance from any specific insurer.
● Propulsion Real Estate Services does not require that the tenant name either the property or Propulsion Real Estate Services as an Additional Insured, or as having any special status, other than as an Interested Party.
